3.3.6. Modify layer

You can move certain elements from one layer to another with the Modify menu - Modify layer command.

• In the dialog box displayed, choose the number of the new layer to which you want to assign the elements, then click OK.

• Select those elements you wish to move to the new layer (you may also use the commands in the Selection menu).

• EnterFinish selection and close the command.

!As soon as the selected element is moved to a given layer, the Visibility and Background properties of the layer also apply to the element. Additional layer properties, such as color, line type, and line width modify only those properties of the moved element that are layer-associated.
